ANNOUNCEMENT: Poetry Slam Slated Feb. 12 At Bennion Student Union in Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS – A Poetry Slam is set from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, at the Bennion Student Union at University Place in Idaho Falls.

The event is cosponsored by the Bennion Student Union and the Bank of Idaho, and will be emceed by Kasasa Matt Zambrano a professional slam poet.

There are 15 slots that will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and alternates will be accepted after the slots are filled.

Admission is $1 at the door and there will be jazz music provided by an ISU jazz trio, with refreshments being sold by clubs.
