Tis the Christmas Season, and one thing I love to do with my family during Christams time is go out and see the lights. There are some amazing displays put up around town and must put in hours of work putting up their lights. Idaho Falls magazine had an article where a man named Lewis Rasmussen would actually disconnect a street light so the christmas lights on his house would appear brighter.
Probably the best known string of houses in Idaho Falls is the infamous Candycane Lane located near the corner of Sunnyside and Holms where the majority of homes participate in putting up lights down the entire street.
With the Christmas right around the corner, and in an effort to recognize those who have put in the hard work and money to share the lights with everyone, I’m asking if everyone can share with us wher you think some of the Best Christmas Light locations in Southeast Idaho. Let everyone know what you think!

Has anyone ever seen Mr. Rasmussen’s lights? Are they any good?
There are some great lights in the Canterberry area! Best I’ve seen!
There is a house on the other side of Candy Cane Lane, Hartert and Holmes, that have Santa and Mrs Clause out on Friday and Sat. nights and hand out candy canes.
Candy Cane lane is a Joke! Santa Clause lane in Pocatello is much better!
Not every year Troy. I’ve seen several years in the past 10 where Santa Claus Lane is on the downside. Haven’t viewed Candy Cane Lane for that long so I can’t judge. Besides, who cares, this isn’t a competition between the two towns last I checked.
