My protest is one of many that happened on 4/20/2009 for marijuana legalization in Idaho!

So I will ask this question again, when are the rest of us going to find the courage and the time and fight for our rights!
When we fight for marijuana law reform, we are fighting for not only the right to use a harmless plant however we please, but we are also fighting to preserve our 4th amendment rights and many other issues that are influenced by prohibition, including wasteful government spending that keeps dumping billions of dollars per year into a failed “Drug War”.

Also I had an email from a few members here showing me un-announced support. One from the most un-likely character too (someone who completely disagrees with me in public)..
I was surprised to see his support. Cool, but a little cowardly.
The amount of support he gave me in the email, would surprise you by the heavy resistance that he shows me in public. He claims “it’s all part of the plan”. I am thinking maybe he is just bi-polar though.
Im not going to reveal who this was. But I will keep his email around for laughs for a long time.
Anyway, some of the questions that I have had sent to me secretly via email are.

So here is goes. This is from wikipedia:
“The origin of the term stems from a story about a group of teenagers at San Rafael High School in San Rafael, California, United States in 1971.[1][2] The teens would meet after school at 4:20 p.m. to smoke marijuana at the Louis Pasteur statue.
According to an April, 2009, article on the Huffington Post, the group called itself the Waldos because its members hung out by a wall after school. Writer Ryan Grim, citing interviews with anonymous Waldos, claims that the group met by the statue at 4:20 p.m. to begin a search for a crop of unguarded cannabis growing near Point Reyes that they had heard about. They never found the stash, Grim writes, but smoked plenty of marijuana while looking for it.”

I don’t know how many people were there for sure, but way more than were at Colorado University.
Then right around 420 (this year it was on 4/18), Moscow Idaho celebrates marijuana, as they have for the last 13 years.

Joe, the only way to keep this blog from having Google, Yahoo, and a host of other search engine spiders detect it as a pro marijuana website is to remove the pro marijuana posts and associated links from it.
Check your stats plugin or install a stats plugin if you don’t already have one. Statpress reloaded by Manuel Grabowski is the one I use on my blogs. You’ll find you have at least 20 search engine spiders hitting this site every day, and the thing they look for more than anything else is links to off site pages.
Protect the intended mission of Idaho Falls Talks and get rid of the articles and links being posted by outsiders who’s sole mission is to turn IFT into their own pro marijuana website.
Watch for a quick 10 posts from slu2 or one of his alias’s to try and bury this post like they did my post on the other Marijuana column.
I have to concur. I agree with the cause, but this is just too much. Good way to kill traffic that doesn’t want to be associated with weed.
All of the links are to YouTube in this post, and if I recall correctly, YouTube is not a pro-marijuana site. It is more of a pro-free speech site. Nothing wrong with a little free speech.
And since both youtube, and marijuana are very hot topics on the net right now, I wouldn’t say either type of link would be bad for traffic.

I think the main thing wrong with this message board right now, is how hard everyone is trying to do Joe Eagles job, and trying to think for him. The link police thing got real old real quick. Now the conspiracy thing. What’s next?
Here is my advice. Take it or leave it.
Let Joe do his job, if he sees a problem. If he sees traffic declining, if he wants to censor me, if he wants to remove my links, if he wants to ban me… Well, he is a big boy. Let him do his job, however he pleases. If there wasn’t so much drama here, I think this board would improve a ton!
You say that all I have posted about is marijuana. Well, that’s what I have been working on for the last couple of months. But I have also posted about infant potty training recently (hopefully it gets posted)..
Someone mentioned youtube links, and how they would negatively effect traffic on this site.
I think if you look at youtube (just look at some of the youtube links I’ve posted here). Marijuana links do ANYTHING but decrease traffic. A few of the links that I have posted in this thread alone have more than 3 million hits on YouTube. I wouldn’t say that is a bad thing.
If you don’t agree with marijuana legalization information, maybe it’s a bad thing. But when has this site only been about 1 point of view?

I think it’s funny that so many people are bitching about slu2 making comments and posts. If it bothers them so much that slu2 is making most of the new comments why don’t they make some intelligent comments themselves? I guess they don’t really have anything worthwhile to say. Just the same old stoner jokes. Keep it up slu2, you have as much right to comment here as anyone else.
