Stephanie Eldridge, missing for a year now

This story has bothered me a little bit since it happened a year ago. It just seems strange
to have a mother of a small baby leave her car keys, purse, her shoes, and even her baby and two other children — without sign of a struggle.
The local media has been covering this anniversary, and if you’re like me, you’ve probably speculated… Did she have some kind of a breakdown and just leave? Was there a jilted lover in her life who did her harm?
From the linked story it sounds like her kids are struggling with their mother being gone, and that might be the most heartbreaking part. I don’t necessarily want to invite a lot of speculation about her disappearance, because I’m not sure how much good it could or would do, but I do feel for family who has lost a loved one without explanation knowing that the more time that passes the likelihood of a happy ending decreases.
It’s a tough time for them, and perhaps we should include them in our prayers.

0 It’s very sad.
After reading the article, I realized that there was almost no real info on Stephanie in it- nothing about the places she liked to go, interests, past jobs, or social groups.
Without any context as to where to keep an eye out for her, and just a few photos where she looks different in each, it’s very hard for the public to be alert in watching for her.
I’m sure the police are sitting on some of this, but I think a little bit more of her life could be published without damaging a possible criminal case (if there may be reason for one).

0 1 I heard Darwin was onto some research involving a cancer cure but that his disappearance coincided with the release of a prisoner against whom he had testified.

His disappearance did not coincide with the release of a particular prisoner. There is a former prisoner whom Darwin once testified against but that person had been out of prison for some time when Darwin disappeared. Nonetheless the angle was thoroughly investigated.

2 0 Darwin Vest was a hobo spider researcher who disappeared eight or nine years ago. He was last seen drinking at a bar and he left to walk home. Theories have ranged from him falling in the river and drowning to the aformentioned former prisoner doing him in.
