May 2007 was our twentieth operational month, and we earned over 19,600 visitors! All you visitors and participants are awesome. We now have 517 articles, which have generated 6,171 comments.
A security hole was found in early May that prompted the need to cut off writing and publishing access to IdahoFallz.com. The problem seems to have gotten the attention of a prominent WordPress developer, so hopefully the hole is fixed soon.
Obviously cutting access to self-publish was the reason for the decrease in published articles. I offer again to post it for you and take care of the code attributions, just email your text to idahofallz (at) gmail (dot)com. The more voices writing articles and comments, the more diverse our discussions.
Remember that anyone can speak up and change the conversation in comment threads and live chatbox discussions. Sometimes a few sets of people are chatting away in the chatbox in the evenings, it can be neat to watch and participate in.
I’m trying some new things this month, watch for changes.
I ask everyone to please help out by with continued participation through chat, votes, comments, and especially writing your own articles. Sharing IdahoFallz.com with your friends, family and co-workers, and setting IFz as your browser homepage would also be awesome.
Thanks for all of your visits, stories, comments, and participation. You are what makes this site what it is. We look forward to an even bigger and better June.
The top three most-commented-on (new) articles in May included a three-way tie for second place:

Somehow, and I don’t know how I got this silly notion, I expected the “State of the City” article to be about Idaho Falls – the city. Instead it all seems to be about IdahoFallz – the website.
(I wish my site had your stats!)
“June 1, 2007 State of the City Blog” is a good play on words for the title. Most people wouldnt notice the blog part of that title.
