Firefox is the superior browser to Internet Explorer (IE) 6 or 7, but occasionally some websites have particular code that only works in IE. Those sites are few and far between, but they do complicate the browsing experience by forcing you to launch IE instead of another Firefox tab.
For example, I can use Yahoo! email in Firefox, but for some reason I can attach documents to emails only in IE. It’s weird and annoying.
IE Tab is a a simple extension you download here and which installs itself in about 30 seconds. It gives you the ability to easily designate a Firefox tab to use IE browser functionality, so you don’t have to launch IE itself anymore.
You designate an IE tab view by right-clicking on a link and selecting View Page in IE Tab. Easy enough, and Firefox just retired the IE browser from ever launching again. I do not have any more problems attaching documents to my Yahoo! emails.

Awesome! Thanks for the tip, as I have been really frustrated with the attachment thing too.
I like the Friday articles you write about computer-related issues. I don’t know if he is checking in these days, but I was 100% serious learning more about Apple/Mac from Peter. Maybe he would consider writing some basic articles?
The Friday “Help” section on Computers, is on my mind, ‘cuz I’m borrowing a computer that has “challenges” and I suddenly remembered I could download useful software from Zeth’s article way back in Dec.
So thanks, Joe, Zeth and all other who teach me more about the world of computers.
