I wish “Absolute Idiot” Sali was one of my choices

I wish Bill “Absolute Idiot” Sali was running in my congressional district. I wish he were one of my representative choices, because then my choice would be easy; any other candidate would serve Idaho better than Bill Sali.
As it is now, we have a tough choice between two strong candidates, Mike Simpson and Jim Hansen. I was disgusted by Mike Simpson operating as a tool for the big oil companies to ensure they got their billion dollar tax breaks, and I was disgusted by Mike Simpson’s fake enthusiasm for Bill Sali in the name of toeing the party line. However, I can see that both candidates are objectively qualified for the job.
Bill Sali is not only objectively unqualified for office, but he has been clearly and unambiguously labeled an idiot by the respected Bruce Newcomb, he regularly fights with his colleagues, cannot follow simple directions, and now an Idaho blogger is exposing Sali as perpetrating insurance fraud.
I hope the media catches notice of these insurance fraud documents and alerts Idahoans before we elect another criminal idiot. I hope the state Attorney General’s office starts investigating this insurance fraud allegation against Bill Sali.
Yes, our choice would be easy if Bill Sali ran in our district. Like Mike Simpson once said, “Bill Sali makes Helen Chenoweth look like a dream.”

… and I can say as a former Canyon County resident, if Dolores Crow said that (one of the staunchest social conservatives in the state), you can be sure he is a true ‘idiot.’ I only hope that the Boise area television stations, newspapers, and radio journalists are highlighting the above notes that “Joe” posted as well as KLEW-TV in Lewiston, and whatever (limited, lazy) attention the Spokane-Coeur d’Alene stations are giving the race.
I joked to my wife about starting a pool betting on how long until bill sali embarrassed himself and idaho on a national scale.
it’s being reported everywhere that bill sali proposed defying gravity, but everything i read indicated he was joking and did not really waste time submitting a facetious bill.
Then I read bill sali’s upbeat view of Bush’s proposed surge in Iraq and the conditions there:
“We may end up with a civil war before they get things straightened out. In the affairs of mankind, sometimes that’s what you need.”
http://www.spokesmanreview.com/idaho/story.asp?ID=168518&page=all
And sali is in charge of “training his employees in ethics and anti-discrimination policies”.
Ummm ok, what else is sali up to?
Sali is co-sponsoring amendments to make English the official U.S. language, and is co-sponsoring (with our representative Mike Simpson) an amendment congratulating Boise State for the Fiesta Bowl win.
sali thinks it “will be a nice piece of congressional history.”
Oh. My.
I’m taking bets on when bill sali embarrasses totally embarrasses himself and idaho. i say he’ll give me a birthday gift and do it on january 27.
What day do you say?
And in just the first half year of Sali’s congressional career he already has a strong opponent for the next race. That didn’t take long.
The PR reported an Iraq war veteran, Matt Salisbury, will run against Sali in the May 2008 primary, as a “Lincoln Republican”.
Is this “Lincoln Republican” a new fad in the Republican tent, anyone have insight to what it means?
Poor Larry.
He got defeated because he admitted he once had an affair and his slutty opponent, Helen “I’ll screw anyone” Chenoweth played it up. I wonder if any who voted for hooker Helen feel bad after learning she was sleeping with a married man at the time and while in Congress developed a reputation as a party girl. Probably not since the only thing that matters to most voters in Idaho is the (R) next to the name, not things like morals, integrity, or intelligence.
I’m not putting Larry on a pedastal since he is scum for having an affair. But at least he was honest about it unlike Helen.
