Walking Dads of Idaho Falls invites dads living in or visiting the Idaho Falls area to get their kids out and exercise a little, and give moms a little break also. Dads can be a hero three ways by doing this.

There is no registration, no fees, no agenda; just dads relaxing and bonding with their kids. Try to get out Sunday mornings before noon, to your local parks or greenbelt. I think the Community Park at Holmes and 25th street is great because kids can play on the playground after walking some laps.

Remember to apply sunblock beforehand, and bring caps, sunglasses, good walking shoes, and ice water. Strollers are better for the littlest ones. Bigger kids alternate weekly between walking, biking, or skateboarding.

If you see other dads with their kids, be sure to say hello.
