First, for everyone besides the uber-geeks, RSS is a big term for a simple way to have your favorite website content show up in different places.
Suppose you like IdahoFallz.com content, but forget to visit for a couple weeks. You can use our RSS feed to get IdahoFallz.com stories pulled to your favorite daily location as soon as we publish those stories.
For example, if you have a free Yahoo! email address, you can easily add the IdahoFallz.com (or any other site) RSS feed to your personalized My Yahoo! page (everyone gets one free with their email).
Just hit Control + F on your keyboard and find the link called, Add RSS by URL in your page. Click that link and on the next page add one or both of the key feed addresses below:
The key address to use for our stories feed is: http://idahofallz.com/feed/
The key address to use for our comments feed is: http://idahofallz.com/comments/feed/
Remember the feeds just give you the stories, you’ll still want to come to the actual site for the chatbox conversations, polls, and other goodies.

Thanks for a useful discussion about RSS. All the others I’ve read have been too techno that an average outsider couldn’t totally follow.
