Yes, we do use tax money for childrens programs through our recreation deparment. We collect property taxes under a tax levy for recreation. But one of the areas that I would push is to form relationships with other organizations , YWCA, Soccer Associations, Hockey Associations, and others and work with them to create programs for our youth. We have great volunteers in this town who are willing to plan and carry out their programs if they could get some cooperation and support from the city.
