See your comments in the sidebar now

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to the newsletter or RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

We have added a code to display recent comments to posts in the sidebar area. This way you can quickly see your own comments, your comments are linked to the original post, and you can have 1 of your 15 minutes of fame right here. This should help increase the dialogue mission of IdahoFallz.com, making it easier to have asynchronous communications via the comments.

BTW, you do not have to be registered to comment. Once you write and submit your comment, it is held for moderation (meaning we read it to ensure you aren’t a potty mouth). We are on top of the site all day, however, and comments should appear quickly for you to see.

UPDATE: The comment script used to display the commenter’s name and the first 10 or so words from their comment. Since then we found the Smart Unread Comments script is better, because it’s customized to each unique visitor.

We also do not moderate comments anymore, instead using an automatic filter to keep out bad language and spam. This means legitimate comments are posted immediately.

If you enjoyed this post, please consider to leave a comment or subscribe to the feed and get future articles delivered to your feed reader.
